Cruising down Atlantic Ave it’s really easy not to notice the glorious Intercontinental Boston sneaking up on you just to your right, between Atlantic and the Harbor.Even though the InterContinental is often outshined by the BHH a few feet up the block, it’s nevertheless a beautiful reflective harbor hotel that opened their 21 story structure in 2006 at 510 Atlantic Ave., not a bad piece of real estate to have. There are over 400 guest rooms, and yes, amazing as it is… actually over 100 private residences, who wouldn't want to “live” there?
Just take a quick left here at this wonderful vista on the Rose Kennedy Greenway, at Seaport Blvd and you’ll be going right into Boston’s Seaport neighborhood. Luxury condo buildings, many businesses, restaurants, bars and all the shopping you could want.Of course, take a right instead and you’re right in the middle of downtown Boston. There are a number of sky lounges at the many businesses and restaurants around this area, and with the harbor all around you, the views are spectacular.Lastly, there are year-round harbor tours and trips, on the Spirit of Boston for one, that pickup and drop off very close to this area. The amazing Boston Harbor Hotel is right over right over your shoulder from here, as well.
